  3. ePortfolio in Your Palm Also known as “from Suitcase to Smartphone” • ePortfolios in your Palm demonstrates how Construction Assessors at BDC successfully manage the assessment process on site visits using just one hand-held portable device a SMARTphone (per assessor) and a selection of smart Apps. • This has improved work practices and the effectiveness of the assessment process whilst encouraging learners to use their own personal devices to engage in their ePortfolio.

Journey Start – The Brief • Brief – Review the use technology to improve the tracking of Portfolios in WBL • Using off-the-self ePortfolio • Focus of this session • In house developed system • So many different requirements made it very difficult to standardise • Staff reluctant to re-develop curriculum alignment to criteria • Management of evidence – was very difficult standardise too
