Addressing financial inefficiencies is a key personal, professional and moral responsibility . not one of the trust and people involved in the case study had any misconception that this was the case. The understanding is that we need to be more efficient, cut the cost and the need to make decision as close to the patient as possible using the great clinical leadership talented, committed and capable people we have in the NHS.Not to underestimate that the nursing midwives and other AHP in these case studies understand the important of quality without efficiency is not an option .
