Animals In The Desert • Desert Bighorn Sheep: • Gets hunted by the Coyote • Fast • Short legs • Body filled of mussels. • Coyote: • Hunts the animals of meat • People are it’s worst enemy • Lives in western America . • Sonoran Pronghorn Antelope: • Gets eaten by a Coyote. • Lives only in America. • Can see as far as 4 miles. • Eyes are on top of its head. • Thorny Devil : • strangest of the lizards • Change theirskin color to hide • lays 3-10 eggs at a time. Plants That live In The Desert • Saguaro Cactus: • It only grows in the desert • It makes its own food • It has water inside it • It is spiky. • Palo Verde: • It is strange and yellow • It is a very important tree in the Sonoran Desert ecosystem. • Barrel Cactus: • It makes it’s own food • It has water inside it • itIt gives water to other plants. Human Activities In The Desert • They go hunting with their falcons to make them practice to catch their food alone. • People drive on the sand dunes there, with quad bikes and 4X drive cars to have fun. • At night, they sleep in the tents or caravans. • They have camel races and rally races.   6. Abiotic Factors Of The Desert • Abiotic factors are: • Sand • Rocks • Small ponds or lakes Bibliography # 7

  7. How do animals use the Abiotic factors in the desert? • Animals use the sand to hide from enemies or to avoid the sun. • Animals use the rocks to get some shade sometimes. • They use the lakes and ponds to drink from them when they are thirsty. Bibliography # 7
