  2. What is a Partial Solution Exercise? A Partial Solution Exercise is an exercise in which the ordering phase has already been partially solved for you.

  3. How to Solve a Partial Solution Exercise Click the solve link for the exercise just as in any other exercise Drag operations from the right to the left as in any other exercise DO NOT reorder any operation that is already given to you Do the mapping as in any other exercise Save and submit as in any other exercise

  4. Click on the Partial Solution Exercise

  5. If There Is A Concept Review Then Click The Concept Review Button

  6. If you need more room, you can resize columns by dragging the middle border.

  7. If there is a concept review, answer all questions, then click submit

  8. Then Click The Solve Button

  9. Some operations are already given. DO NOT reorder them. They are in the correct order.

  10. Drag needed operations from right to left

  11. Click Save to save your work

  12. You can check your ordering just like other exercises

  13. If there is a limit on the number of check orderings, you will be warned

  14. Traceable problem grade will be based on the execution not Ordering!! Ordering help you complete the algorithm development.

  15. Map all unlocked variables

  16. If a value should map to a number instead of a variable then click the ? And select “literal value”

  17. Then type in the number you want to map to the ?

  18. If you see trace execute buttons, you can trace with the example input. Make sure you replace all ? before using these buttons.

  19. Or you can trace with all the example input

  20. Submit your work when you are satisfied

  21. View your solution when you are done

  22. Congratulations!!! You solved a Partial Solution Exercise!!

  23. You can see your grade by click on Score. When you are all done, print that page and turn it in to your teacher.
