    2. What Is Risk Assessment? Risk assessment is an organised method of looking at possible health and safety risks in any given situation and what might need to be done to minimise the risk. Much of this process is common sense and is carried out automatically before all activities. You already do a number of things before taking part in any activity that minimise the risk of injury. With reference to a sporting activity of your choice, list the precautions you take before you start.
