  2. This is the screen you will see when you open the programme...

  3. View Shortcuts Memory Save Projects Problems Help Open This is a brief description of some of the icons... Click on the labels to find out more about each icon!

  4. Help: • If you are not sure or forgotten something, use the help button to find out. • Useful for reminding yourself about the command shortcuts. BACK

  5. Save: • Click on this icon to save your work. • Use the procedure you normally use when saving work (whenever possible, save work onto your server). BACK

  6. Open: • Click on this icon to open your work. • Use the procedure you normally use when opening work. BACK

  7. Memory: • If you have written a procedure it will be stored here. • To edit your procedure double click on the name you gave it and then double click on the command box that appears. BACK

  8. View: • With these buttons you can change the view (there are three choices). • One shows the turtle only, one shows the turtle and the text (commands) and the third shows just the text. BACK

  9. Problems: • Choose a problem to work through from the list. • The solutions are given at the bottom of the screen (you may have to scroll down). • Beware – some are not very well explained! BACK

  10. Shortcuts: These two icons give you two lists of shortcuts: Commands: Things you want the turtle to do. Buttons: Things you want to do to the screen (clear, change colour, pen up etc).

  11. Projects: • Projects which you can explore and work through. • This can provide some extension for those who have met this unit previously. BACK
