  5. Expected Student Behaviors Be on time everyday School starts at 7:50! Don’t be late!! Be prepared Have your homework complete before school. Be a polite and positive participant Listen to others and participate in class. Be productive Turn in work on time, and always do your best. Be a problem solver Work with others to solve any problems.

  6. Important information • Planners must come to school everyday! • Your planner will tell you everything you need to know about homework! • Stamps system = rewards for you!

  7. Dress Code • Khaki or Navy pants, skirt, skort, dress • Navy, Red, White, Green polo • Button up white dress shirt with collar • Shirts must be tucked in with a belt • Jackets, sweaters… • Tennis shoes on PE days

  8. Did you take a shower today? • Shower or take a bath EVERYDAY! • Wash your hair- don’t forget to brush it • Brush your teeth 2-3 times per day • Wash your uniform and plan ahead for each week • Smell good and feel good! 

  9. Show Respect Value yourself. Be honest and do your best, no matter what. Treat all members of the school community with politeness and respect. Honor the ideas and opinions of others. Offer to help. Be responsible with property and things that do not belong to you.

  10. Classroom Expectations Do unto others as you would want them to do unto you! Always ask questions when you are unsure about something. Be respectful and polite to everyone. We are here to learn… Include your parents in your school work, tell them about your day, show them your work.

  11. Absent If you are absent for any reason, it is your responsibility to get your make-up work the day you get back to school. You will have the number of days you were absent to complete your work and turn it in for full credit. Absent one day= one day to get your work done and turn it in. Your parents must call the office if you are absent and let them know why you are not here. If you bring a note, take it to the office!

  12. Lunch • Lunch 12:30-1:00 • This is your time to eat, not play. • Be respectful of others and do not waste anyone’s time. • Clean up after yourself. Do not leave a mess for someone else to clean up for you. • Eat first, then talk when you are finished eating your lunch. • Soft voices!

  13. Recess • Recess is a privilege. • You must earn this privilege. • No homework= loss of recess time • Poor behavior= loss of recess time • Obey all school rules during recess! Make smart 4th grade behavior choices. You are in charge of your behavior!

  14. Homework Every night you must read for 30 minutes. Your parents must sign your planner each night. You will have different homework assignments each night, Monday-Thursday, that should take you about 30 minutes to complete. No homework on Fridays, unless you have make-up work.

  15. Tutoring and FNL • After school tutoring will start soon! • Your teachers will let you know if and when to come. • Make sure your parents know! • Make sure you have a ride home! • FNL will start in November- we will tell you if you need to stay.

  16. Classroom materials, etc. Pencils Class Library Chairs Lining up Spirals, Folders, etc. Book Boxes Nurse/Office Cubbies
