  1. NAnoROBOTICS

  2. INTRODUCTION • Nanorobotics is the technology of creating machines close to the microscopic scale of a nanometer • Nanorobots (Nanobots, Nanoids, Nanomites) would typically be devices ranging insize from 0.1-10 micormeters and constructed of nano scale or moleculer components.

  3. Nanorobot Design • Nanorobot produce ultrasonic waves by passing a signal to the piezoelectric membrane

  4. Approaches to prepare Nanorobot TopDownApproach BottomUpApproach

  5. Top down approach • A top-down technique that is closely related to Nanomanipulation involves removing or depositing small amounts of material • The top down, semiconductor fabrication techniques are producing smaller and smaller structures-see for recent work. For example, the line width of the original Pentium chip is 350 nm. • Current optical lithography techniques have obvious resolution limitations because of the wavelength of visible light, which is in the order of 500 nm. X-ray and electron-beam lithography will push sizes further down, but with a great increase in complexity and cost of fabrication. • These top-down techniques do not seem promising for building nanomachines that require precise positioning of atoms or molecules.

  6. Bottom up Approach • In this approach assembling of atoms and molecules into functional components and systems is done Bottom Up Approach First Method The first is based on self-assembly, and is a natural evolution of traditional chemistry and bulk processing Second Method The other is based on controlled positioning of nanoscale objects, direct application of forces, electric fields, and so on

  7. Recognition of Target Site By NanoRobot • In the 3D workspace the target has surface chemicals • Manufacturing better sensors and actuators- Nanorobot Control Design (NCD) simulator • The nanorobot’s small Brownian motions to find the target by random search • They monitor for chemical concentration significantly above the background level • Nanorobots at the target release another chemical, which other use as an additional guiding signal to the target

  8. Medical application • Breaking up blood clots: Nanorobots could travel to a clot and break it up • Fighting Cancer: The robots could either attack tumors directly using lasers, micowaves or ultrasonic signals or delivering medication directly to the cancer site. • Helping the body clot:One particular kind of nanorobot it the clottocyte, or artificial platelet • Parasite Removal:Nanorobot could wage micro-war on bacteria and small parasitic organisms inside a patient. • Gout:Gout is the condition where the kidneys lose the ability to remove waste from the bloodstream. A nanorobot could break upt he crystalline structures at the jopints, providing releif from the symptoms

  9. Working of nanorobot The robot swims through the arteries and veins using a pair of tail appendages

  10. Vedio add karnlena

  11. Implementation of nanorobot • Real time 3D prototyping and simulation • Nanorobots detect the target area and work accordingly • The target area is mixed with RBC’s • Nanorobots communicate through electromagnetic ultrasound traducers • Effectively identifies and destroys the targeted tumor area

  12. Time required for nanorobots to Achieve the targets in vessels with Different diameters

  13. The way for nerve cell regenration At the NSTI Nantotech 2007 conference researches describe the use of nano robotics in medicine to enhance the regeneration of nerve cell
