  2. Physical Education There are many sports module introduced in our school. Such as for PE; rugby, hockey, frisbee, netball, etc. Through these different kind of sports, we were exposed to a variety of sports which we did not know that it existed before. Moreover, we were taught on how each sport were played. NAPFA is also another good example to test on our stamina and mental strength. One needs to exercise regularly and have high determination to complete the 2.4km run and the 5 stations.

  3. Co-Curricular Activities Other than those PE module that we learnt, our school also offered many sport-related CCAs. Such as Basketball, Table Tennis, Floorball, Badminton, etc. Quite a number of our students joined these CCAs because of their passion and to live a healthy lifestyle. These CCAs has instilled good discipline and sportsmanship in every single one of its students.

  4. Current Affairs Just 2 years ago, Youth Olympic Games, an international multi-sport event was held in Singapore. It consist of 26 different sports. Many of the professional athletes participated in the games. The event was the inaugural Youth Olympic Games, and it saw 3,531 athletes between 14 and 18 years of age competing in 201 events in 26 sports. Singapore achieved 2 Silver and 4 Bronze in the Youth Olympic Games.

  5. Personal Experiences The school has created many platform for us to showcase our talents and passion. For example events such as Sports Day and International Friendship Day. These events allowed us to bond with our classmates and even schoolmates by showing good sportsmanship. I find that through these sports and games that me and my classmates participate, it benefited us in a lot of ways. We have learnt that by joining these interclass games, it is not the results that is the most important but the process of the events and by showing good sportsmanship. It was really a heartwarming scene to see many of our classmates cheering one another on while the games is going on. Some of those events required group participation, thus giving students who are not in the Sports CCA to have an unforgettable experience.

  6. Personal Experiences Personally, I have an hobby of going for a swim fortnightly. By swimming, it helps me relief stress and to maintain a healthy lifestyle by being mentally and physically active. Such simple activity such as going for a jog with a few of our friends in the evening will not only strengthen the friendship we share and even improve our stamina. In conclusion, I think that sport plays a very important part in our lives if one wants to stay fit and have a healthy lifestyle.
