  2. Mission Statement Our mission is to create the thrill, excitement and experience of winter in any season. We want your love for the mountains to never stop, and your rush to be endless! From one passion to another, let’s keep ergoing…

  3. The Product • We have created a street ski that can be ridden in any season • They have a plastic bottom that slides on concrete well, with a rubber edge • Our binding are similar the snow board bindings but are modified for the average shoe

  4. The Product • Our product enables avid skiers to do what they love all year round. • Our street skies are also more affordable then buying all of the mountain passes and gear that is necessary to ski in at a ski resort. • Skiing is a very popular activity that is growing annually. The only problems are that the mountains are far away, the gear and pass costs a lot, and it is season depended. • Our skies will cost $250 which is a low price compared to the cost of skiing with rental skies for only a day at Sypress. A day of skiing at Sypress can cost $70 just for a day pass and ski rentals. • For $250 you can own our product. You don’t have to buy a day pass and you can do it when every you want with out having to leave your neighborhood.

  5. Finances • The cost to make a pare of our skies is $85 plus $15 of shipping. • Our skies will sell for $250 including shipping, that is a $142.45 profit on each pare of skies sold when you include Pay Pall costs.

  6. Finances • In order to start we would need to create a perfect sample of the product, which will more likely take a few prototypes. • To create the perfect skies we would need to make prototypes and do test, $1 400 will give us enough money to make 15 prototypes. • Plus $10 755 for our first order of 100 skies including shipping and Pay Pal • Plus $500 for advertising • Total of $12 655 kick start costs

  7. Advertising • Most of our adds, to conserve money in the beginning will be online. • Posting adds on YouTube and Facebook. • Other adds will come form sponsoring street skiers that use our product and are good at it.

  8. Shipping • Our product will reach our customer’s using the united states postal service. • It costs $10 to ship down the coast form Washington and $20 to ship across the US. • We will include $15 of shipping in the cost for U.S.A buyers.

  9. Customer Payments/Services Payments Services Customers can contact us for question by e-mailing us. Frequently asked question will be posted on our website. • Customers will use PayPal to perches our product. • Every perches Pay Pal charges 2.9% + $0.30 for every transaction. • That is $7.55 to use Pay Pall to receive the payment for our average ski.

  10. Day to Day Cost • Day to day cost will be low as we do not have employees. • The occasional replacement of a broken tool will be all.

  11. Target Market • Our target market is people ages 10 to 40 that have a passion for skiing. • Men ages 13-30 looking for the next extreme sport.

  12. Growth • If the company is successful and we are unable to keep up with orders then we have planned to transport our workshop to Cambodia. • A 500 sq.m. work shop in Cambodia cost $1500 a month and is brand new just outside of the city Phom Penh. • We will also introduce snow boards, skim boards, indoor sliding slippers as we progress

  13. Goals • Year 1: our goal is to establish our selves through sponsorship and online adds and to sell a minimum of 2 skies a month. • That is $3 500 profit in the first year • To make our product as popular as down hill skiing

  14. Competition • Our product is %100 unique • Since no one has invented a product like this we will have to paten the idea in order to keep product unique

  15. Potential Problems & Solutions • The skies do not preform well and we have to put more money into designing to them. • If idea does not catch on quick than, more money must be put into advertising.

  16. Conclusions • We want to create the excitement of down hill skiing in all seasons and conditions • Our skies cost $85 to make • $15 to ship • $7.55 to use Pay Pall • Our skies will sell for $250 • That is $142.45 profit on each pair sold • Our affordable skies can be used in your community on any paved slope
