  21. in strategic cooperation compliant RFID centre inaugurated 21-6-2005 • Since 1974 – long time before it became fashionable – DTI P&L has naturally been focused upon the goods flow in global supply chains. • From 1976-88 DTI P&L was the secretariat for EAN DK and thus was heading the implementation of ean barcodes in Denmark. • In 1980´ies DTI P&L developed route planning systems utilising satellite positioning (GPS) and Radio frequency tagging (RFT) • In 1990´ies DTI P&L was heading a number of large R&D projects within – logistics and transport • In cooperation between EAN Denmark and DTI P&L on behalf of DagSam (FMCG) feasibility study and recommendations as to the best way of establishing a Danish data alignment and synchronisation service (DADAS) DADAS (eventually started autumn 2005 – Global data synchronisation GLS is decisive for getting the benefits out of implementing profitable RFID supply chain solutions) • Now we have a RFID platform on top.
