  5. Carlos Gardel Carlos Gardel (11 December 1890 – 24 June 1935) was a singer, songwriter and actor, and is perhaps the most prominent figure in the history of tango. He was born in Toulouse, France

  6. The death of Carlos Gardel Gardel died in 1935 in an airplane crash in Medellín, Colombia.

  7. INTERNATIONAL TANGO FESTIVAL Today, the Tango isacceptedwithoutanycensorship. In Medellincelebrates International Tango Festival in themonth of June. The tango isheard, sang and danced in many places in thecity.
