  1. Very important! Your poster must be clear and easy to read from the back of the classroom. Grade for each group member is out of 25 Addictive Drug Poster Your poster should include: • A clear title • Common terms (slang names) • What the drug is (definition) • How the drug works • Physical Effects • Mental and Emotional Effects • Signs of use • How do you know if you’re addicted? • Any other information you feel should be included • Include: color, pictures, etc. Make it eye catching.

Poster Presentation For your presentation be sure to consider: • When reading your information on the poster provide further explanation when needed (Remember: the other students have not read the materials you have) • Use stories to further explain (from the 6 Decisions book or your personal experience) • Use a clear speaking voice and face the audience • Be sure that the class can see your poster and information • Do not rush – give classmates a chance to write down some important information. • All members of the group should be part of the presentation • Conclude by telling the class what was the most important thing you learned from doing this project.
