JupiterBy Alex Description • Jupiter is larger than all the other planets combined • Called the giant planet • 88,850 in diameter • Spot 2 times bigger than Earth What it looks like • Looks like it has stripes • Many clouds • Strong winds • Big storm called Great Red Spot has been there for 300 year Other facts • Jupiter has been raging here for 300 years • Fifth planet from the sun • Very cold • Made mostly of gas

Jack Russel TerriersBy Annie Description • Grows up to 15 inches tall • Adults weigh 13-17 pounds • Strong bodies • Almond shaped eyes • Mostly white with brown and black spots • Smart, playful, loving, enjoys being with people • Popular in United States, Ireland, and England • House pets Food and Exercise • Fresh food and water each day • Don’t change diet – leads to health problems • Loves running, swimming, and going on walks • Likes playing chase and tug of war- play every day Jack Russel Puppies • Up to four puppies each litter • Born blind and deaf • Drinks mothers milk • Starts seeing and hearing at 2 weeks • Stays with mother for 8 weeks • Lives for 15 years

MuttsBy Annika Description • A mix of two dogs • Can turn out to look like endless possibilities • Can weigh up to anything • Usually live to 13 years old • Can have any body shape • They are carnivores • Can grow up to any height • Can be as talented as pure breeds What they need • Make sure they are healthy • They need loving care • Grooming and medical care • Warm safe house to live in and exercise Advantages • Mutts are far less expensive • Mutts are healthier • Mutts can compete with pure breeds in agility and obedience

Great DanesBy Avery Description • Male Great Danes stand 30 to 36 inches tall • Females stand 28 to 34 inches tall • Males weigh 140 to 175 inches tall • Females weigh 110 to 140 inches tall • Heads are large and square • Tails are long and curved • Coats are soft and smooth • Colors, brindle blue, fawn, harlequin, mantle, white, and merle Grooming • Don’t shed a lot • Coats brushed once a week • Bathed when needed • Toe nails trimmed • Don’t need a lot of grooming • Teeth and ears should be cleaned regularly • A veterinarian can show dog owners how to do these things Food • Boars • Dog food (high quality kibble with a drop of water.) • 10 pounds of kibble a day

Meteors and MeteoritesBy Nolan Where do they come from? • When a comet melts sand and dust it becomes a meteorite • Most meteorites and meteors are left over from when the solar system formed • Small pieces break off of meteors and become meteors Micrometeors • They come from sand and dust mixed in a ice comet • When comets get close to the sun some melts off Types of Meteorites • Stony meteorites • About 30,000 Meteorites weigh 4 ounces • Iron Meteorites • Some stony Meteorites have a glassy crust.
