  • Do you feel you would get a fair trial? If you had more money would it help you?

  • Did you hear about the guy who lost his left arm in a car crash?

  • Mundungus – Very old word for smelling like garbage or dung. Often used to refer to bad smelling tobacco.

    Goals – Begin week 23 vocabulary study. A bit more detail on constructing an argument. Work toward Wednesday deadline.

    Homework – Begin study of Week 23 vocabulary words.

  • Pox and piles – curse from the middle ages.

    Goals –Examine how the rubric measures your argument. Make revisions to create your best chance for success.

    Homework – Write a brief paragraph about your beliefs about the responsibilities a citizen has to his or her society?

  • Riggafrutch – means nothing but sounds nasty.

    Goals – Work on the force of your argument and eloquence of project. Submit the final draft with the evaluation form by the end of the day.
