  3. Open Gym Open gym at the middle school on Tuesday and Thursday nights from 9-10pm, for non-winter sport athletes

  4. Speech Team Good luck to the speech team members competing at Forest Lake tomorrow. Remember to bring all your speech materials home with you tonight as the building won't be open when the bus loads at 5:30 a.m. Ninth grader speech team members: If you want to compete at the jr. high speech meet at Eveleth-Gilbert next Thursday, you must sign up by the end of the day TODAY (Friday). We will leave during the last hour and return between 8:00 - 8:30 p.m.

  5. Week in Sports Tuesday, February 18th 7:15pm Boys Basketball vs. Hibbing @ HHS Friday, February 21th 5:45pm Girls Basketball vs. Proctor @ Proctor 7:15pm Boy Basketball vs. Proctor @ Proctor

  6. Boys Track There will be a short meeting for any boys interested in Track and Field on Thursday February 13th after school in room 211. If you can’t make the meeting please contact Mr. Forsell, Mr. Prisk or Mr. Mundle for the information about the start of the season. Track will start on March 10th

  7. Girls Track Girls track will have a short meeting on Wed. 2/19 @ 2:55 in Mr. Bergstedt's room # 227

  8. Summer Volunteer Opportunities One Person Can Make A Difference Essentia Health Volunteer Services is currently taking applications for summer Junior Volunteer Program. Join a group of young, caring volunteers while gaining new experiences in health care. Applications are now available by contacting your guidance counselors. The deadline for applications to be returned is Wednesday, March 26. (Students must be 14 years old by June 1, 2014)

  9. College Recruiters February 18th : US Army during lunch February 20th : US Marines during lunch March 18th : St. Catherine’s 2:15pm Sign up sheets are available in the counseling office.
