  1. Study Visit on Tourism Education in Thailand For Delegation of professors from Mandalay and Yangon Universities February 21-26, 2012

FIHRD has been promoting People-to-People Diplomacy (PPD) with all GMS countries especially Myanmar. • FIHRD organized International Conference on GMS Tourism presided by Former Prime Minister Abhisit Vejjajiva. He exchanged ideas on tourism with the Burmese delegation that showed interest in Thailand’s tourism management. • Therefore, FIHRD will organize Study Visit on Tourism Education in Thailand For Delegation of professors from Mandalay and Yangon Universities on February 21-26, 2012 to promote Thailand as a Tourism Best Practice case study for Myanmar. Background and Rational

This study visit will promote knowledge and exchange experience in tourism between Thailand and Myanmar and create concrete network for tourism development and other related areas for supporting AEC. • This will create trust between Thailand and Myanmar by People-to-People Diplomacy (PPD).
