  2. Take Cues from Corporate America • Sell yourself—you are your own best advocate. • Take credit for your accomplishments. • Keep a running file each year.

  3. Why Document? • Immediate supervisor may not be involved in instruction. • Immediate supervisor may not know your range of activities. • Library director may not be aware of scope of instruction program. • Faculty evaluation committees don’t know what librarians do.
