Once the teacher reads the rules of the game, the students will perform the task for at least 15 seconds or until the teacher calls out the next task: • Walk along the border of Coweta County which borders the Chattahoochee River • Run the 137 miles of the Altamaha River • Jump across the fall line to follow the Flint River • Crawl through the swamp through the Ocmulgee River’s landscape • Make a house like a Creek Indian on the settlement of the Oconee River • Hop the borders of Georgia and South Carolina on the Savannah River • Jump rope where Georgia and Florida meet along the St. Marys River • Variations: • The teacher can use a map to show where each landmark is during an extension of this Social Studies energizer.
