  1. Georgia on My Mind • Rules/Directions: • Teacher will guide the class on a virtual tour the of the Georgia rivers. Once the teacher reads the rules of the game, the students will perform the task for at least 15 seconds or until the teacher calls out the next task: • Walk along the border of Coweta County which borders the Chattahoochee River • Run the 137 miles of the Altamaha River • Jump across the fall line to follow the Flint River • Crawl through the swamp through the Ocmulgee River’s landscape • Make a house like a Creek Indian on the settlement of the Oconee River • Hop the borders of Georgia and South Carolina on the Savannah River • Jump rope where Georgia and Florida meet along the St. Marys River • Variations: • The teacher can use a map to show where each landmark is during an extension of this Social Studies energizer.
