What is the status of accreditation by the Ministry of Education of each school?How many teachers are in a certain geographic area? Where are the schools that have libraries? How many of these have parent committees?

Lessons Learned / Best Practices • Need to have technical experts to conduct training • Feasible to train non-technical experts to utilize this technology • Sustainability: using technology with license • Battery charging • Ensure all necessary applications are downloaded on the iPod • Length of time to capture GPS varies

Lessons Learned / Best Practices (cont) • Troubleshooting visits to data collectors within 1 – 2 weeks of assessment • Create data analysis plan at the same time questionnaire is uploaded to iFormbuilder • Create and distribute an iPod and GPS Cradle user manual with instructional images to all data collectors • Ensure national partners are adequately included to transfer tools and knowledge for future use

  12. Transfer of technology to national partner • Human resources: IT Specialist + 76 skilled data collectors + 2-3/Diocese trained in data collection and utilization • Physical resources: 26 iPod Touch and GPS devices; iTunes account; google account for all 10 BDEs
