DOWNTIME:HEO/WIZ, HED, AdminRX, ED Order Trackerorders, nurse documentation, barcode scanning ED order documentationSat, May 12 from 7pm to Sun, May 13 1pmStarpanel and ED whiteboards will be operational. • RNs and MR have been going to class • System support will be rounding- Look for Green Shirts • Starpanel & Pharmacy system will operational. • Special Considerations • Consults • Write order” consult (service) and then provider to contact consulting provider (call operator for # or reference list on units). • TPN ordering- • VUH • New orders- write Order to consult TPN team, TPN Pharmacist will complete order form • Existing TPN- TPN team will adjust TPN Sun am based on labs. • VCH- complete TPN Ordersheet (in EDOCS) • Insulin Drip & Electrolyte Replacement Protocols- RNs will adjust rate according to protocol • Nurse Managed Heparin Protocol will revert to Provider Managed Heparin Protocol – RN will call HO will PTT result and adjust orders. • Restraints- Charge nurse will contact HO to renew 1700 on Sat and after downtime is over Sunday • Code Status orders- Enter in Starformand ALERT THE RN.
