  1. Summation Paper The end is in sight!

  2. My Issue Is….. • My issue is… (summarize your first paper). • Anything you wrote in the first paper ( numbers/statistics/facts) are important to this section of the paper. • Tell what your issue involves. • If you made observations (all of you did this) or collected data during your service, write about it here. • Include a quote and research.

  3. My Service • Write about your service (summary). • Talk about what you did and what happened. • This section should be VERY detailed. I want to know how you spent your 15 hours and how it relates to your topic.

  4. Details About Your Service • Was your project effective? If so, how was it effective and who did it effect? If not, why and what could have been done differently to make it effective? • What difference did it make and to whom? • Was it what you wanted or thought it would be? • What is your position on this issue and this service?

  5. Further Action • What other things can be done? • If someone were to pick up where you left off, what would they do, where would they go, how would they start and why? • Now what? • What is left to be done with regards to your project? • This section might contain a quote or some research.

  6. How Are You Changed? • In the future, what will you stop doing as a result of the project/service/education? • What will you start doing as a result of your project/service/education? • What will you continue to do as a result of your project/service/education? • Explain this work in detail!

  7. Who Have You Become • What did you learn from this experience?

  8. Conclusion • Sum up your ideas • Restate your issue, position and service opportunity • Tie it all together • Be passionate and powerful!
