  2. In Thailand it is traditional for thai people to do something called the wai when they meet, to be respectful. The way the wai is done is by putting your hands flat together and bowing but not to low for that is disrespectful and hold your hands against or above your head because that is what is done while praying and if you do it to a person it means you think they are a God and incredibly disrespectful. The Wai

  3. In Thailand at the table they eat with chopsticks and when they use cutlery they don’t use knives because for them having a knife at the dinner table is like having a gun at the dinner table and occasionally they sit on cushions at low tables and eat with their hands. Food/Table manners

  4. In Thailand it is rude to give people gifts rapped green, black and red for those are the funereal colures. Gift Giving

It is also rude to pat people on the head because it is the closest part of their body to god so when you pat them on the head you interrupting their only connection with god. • It is also incredibly rude to have your feet pointing at someone because your foot is the dirtiest part of your body. Plain rude!
