  2. Luke 2:25-33 – At that time there was a man in Jerusalem named Simeon. He was righteous and devout and was eagerly waiting for the Messiah to come and rescue Israel. The Holy Spirit was upon him 26 and had revealed to him that he would not die until he had seen the Lord's Messiah. 27 That day the Spirit led him to the Temple. So when Mary and Joseph came to present the baby Jesus to the Lord as the law required,

He took the Child in his arms and praised God, saying, 29 "Sovereign Lord, now let your servant die in peace, as you have promised. 30 I have seen your salvation, 31 which you have prepared for all people. 32 He is a light to reveal God to the nations, and He is the glory of your people Israel!" 33 Jesus' parents were amazed at what was being said about Him.

  11. Us: I can’t go on. • God: My grace is sufficient for you. • Us: I can’t figure things out. • God: I will direct your steps and guide you. • Us: I’m not able. • God: I am more than able. • Us: It’s not worth it. • God: It will be worth it if you trust Me.

Us: I can’t manage. • God: I will supply all your needs. • Us: I’m afraid. • God: I did not give you a spirit of fear. • Us: I don’t have enough faith. • God: I’ve given everyone a measure of faith. • Us: I’m not smart enough. • God: You have access to all My wisdom. • Us: I am alone. • God: I will never leave you or forsake you.

  13. Joshua 21:4 – Not a single one of all the good promises the Lord had given to the family of Israel was left unfulfilled; everything He had spoken came true.
