  4. Purpose PRI exists to provide quality oversight and supply chain management solutions for critical manufacturing processes in industries where excellence in quality and safety are not just shared industry goals, but pre-requisites to a successful global organization.

Mission & Strategic Statement Mission Statement PRI is a global provider of customer-focused solutions designed to improve process and product quality by adding value, reducing total cost and promoting collaboration among stakeholders in industries where safety and quality are shared goals . Strategic Statement PRI will deliver global, cost-effective, quality-oriented, customer-focused solutions by maintaining and enhancing existing programs and services and by applying the industry-managed accreditation model to industries where safety and quality are shared goals.

Governance • PRI is a not-for-profit trade association under IRS Tax code 501(c)(6) affiliated with SAE International, a non-profit educational and scientific membership organization. • PRI is led by a Board of Directors with responsibility for strategic direction and financial stability. • CEO of SAE, Intl. is the President of PRI and the sole voting member of the PRI Board of Directors.

PRI Registrar • At the request of the PRI Board, PRI Registrar was established in 1996 to give aerospace customers the option to use one company for their QMS and special process audits. • PRI Registrar offers QMS certifications • Quality (ISO 9001) • Aerospace (AS9100, AS9120, AS9110, AS9003) • Environmental (ISO 14001) • Health & safety (OHSAS 18001) • Customer retention rate is 82% • Customer satisfaction rate is 98.7%

  17. Qualified Products Listing • In 1998, US Department of Defence asked PRI to take over the maintenance of their qualified products listings. • PRI now operates 8 Qualified Products Groups • There are now over 30,000 products on the QPLs
