  1. October 3rd ~ Today is an “A” day! It’s a great day to be a Cougar!

  2. Ten-Four Day salutes radio operators, such as those who use citizens band radio (CB radio), who often use the code "10-4" when responding in the affirmative. Ten-four (10-4) is an affirmative expression used in radio communications that translates to "message received," "you got it," or "OK." Today is Ten-Four Day!

  3. For lunch... TODAY: • Meat Lasagna w/ Garlic Toast • Cheese Lasagna w/ Garlic Toast • PB&J Sandwich w/ Mozzarella string cheese • Chef Salad w/ Breadstick • Hamburger TOMORROW: • Crispito w/ Cheese Sauce • Sabra Hummus Cup w/ Colby Cheese Stick & Flatbread • PB&J Sandwich w/ Mozzarella string cheese • Chef Salad w/ Breadstick • Hamburger For breakfast tomorrow… breakfast pizza!

  7. Document Discovery at the Dole Institute October 18th @ 2:00 - 4:00 pm Hands-on research workshop for middle and high school students. Students will rotate through different activities, including stacks tour, photograph analysis activity, and manuscript box training. Students will be taught how to handle manuscripts. Students will conduct own research on either ADA, civil rights, environmental studies, or ERA/women’s rights. Wrap-up discussion and summary of research statement. See Lori Byers in room 402 for more information!

  9. Intramural Wrestling 7th and 8th graders are invited! October 8 and 10th 3:10 - 4:00 pm! Meet in the mat room. Turn in gold form to Coach Olson!

  10. Cougar Wrestling: Starts Oct. 21st All (5) required forms for team practice need to be turned into Mrs. Rea A.S.A.P. Wrestlers’ information meeting in Room 307 from 3:10-4:00 P.M. on Oct. 15. Practice starts Oct. 21 from 3:20- 5 P.M. 8th grade football players join the team after their season is completed.

  11. Cougar Basketball: Girls Attention 7th & 8th Grade Girls Basketball Players, there are 4 days until tryouts. Do you have all your paperwork on file in the office? Interested 7th Graders, we will talk about it during PE this week. 8th graders not in PE this Semester, if you can't find Deiser, you can get the informational sheet from Mr. Petry or Mr. Rischar.
