  7. Water Confidence Participants must be water confident: ie, you can duck your head underwater and swim 15 metres in a life jacket without panicking.

  8. 1 SOFT bag • Clothes to wear for 3 days • Swimming costume • Warm clothes to wear after surfing (it is England!) • Towels – one for the beach and one for the room • Trainers/sensible shoes for Eden project • Waterproof jacket (just in case) • Toiletries • Packed lunch or money for outward journey • Money for snacks/souvenirs • Money for tea on homeward journey Kit List

  9. Dormitories of 6-9 students • Responsibility – keeping room tidy and safe • Choosing your room-mates Roomings

  10. Students need to hand in all medication. • Please hand to Mrs Hazon on Thursday 11th July 2014 • Clearly labelled: • Name • Dosage • Bring spares just in case (inhalers, allergy tablets, epipens etc.) • If self medicating students can keep hold of the medication but we will take spares • ANY STUDENTS WHO SUFFER FROM TRAVEL SICKNESS PLEASE LET US KNOW Medical

  11. Expectations • School behaviour policy • If there is problematic behaviour: • Removal from activities • Contact with parents and senior member of staff • Possible collection from Cornwall by parents Behaviour

  12. Packed lunch for journey to Cornwall • We will stop for a short period of time at services on both journeys for snacks • Normal behaviour expectation Coach

Facebook group page • Can be searched for up until 10th July 2014. • Will be monitored by all group leaders consistently throughout the trip. • Any inappropriate comments will be immediately removed and users blocked if necessary. • You will not be able to join once we leave – the page will be locked for security. • We will update with comments and log where we are on the return journey, to ensure you are aware of when we will return. • “Monk's Walk Cornwall Trip 2014” Facebook Name Contact

Meet at school Thursday 10th July at 6.30am to register. • Register with group leader (Students will know who this is) • We will arrive back at Monk’s Walk at approx9pm on Saturday 12th July • I think it will be earlier but this is the time frame the bus company have given us. Leaving/Arrival at Monk’s Walk

  15. Tonight Hand in the roomingssheet to a member of staff before you leave. Please let us know if your child does not swim!! Thursday Please take down the phone number to call us on for an update should your child fail to ring you, or check Facebook! Before you leave…
