  3. Solutions? • Manufacturers: • Provide practical power-management tools • Require all vendors of preloaded software to conform to power-management guidelines • Energy Companies: • Establish reports on efficiency of their systems • Develop programs to meet energy-saving standards

  4. Solutions? • Individuals: • Learn how to use power-management tools • Use power-management tools • Buy products with an ENERGY STAR compliant • Encourage others to follow the same procedures
