History and Approach • KdK began working in Cambodia in 2005 as a branch of the US-based International Center for Conciliation (ICfC). • ICfC’s Historical Conciliation Methodology seeks to assist villagers in their own efforts to heal historical wounds. • Our projects focus on empowering villagers through a Participatory Approach that encourages the Cambodians to engage in non-violent conflict resolution.

  3. Vision Kdei Karuna contributes to sustainable peace efforts by enabling individuals to live together with dignity, tolerance, and harmony. KdeiKaruna aims to strengthen peace-building capacities to actively engage different elements of society in non-violent conflict resolution. Mission

  5. Projects: CTHR • Exploring History & Nationalism in the Cambodian-Thai Relationship (CTHR) • Traineeship: Capacity Development for university students • Field Trips, Study Tours and Research • Exchange Trips and Dialogue w/ Thai students • Transfer projects

  6. Outlook • Local Facilitator Capacity Development and project support • Media for Outreach • Expansion of regional program
