  1. PUD Connector To introduce the PUD wire-to-board, double row, crimp style connector series.

  2. PUD Connector Wire-to-Board The PUD series, crimp-style connector is available for wire-to-board applications. This dual row, positive locking connector series is on a 2.0mm (.079”) pitch and molded in RoHS compliant 94V-0 material. The low insertion force connector is offered from 8 to 40 even numbered circuits and is rated at 3A AC/DC (using 22 AWG) at 250V. The series has an operating temperature range of -25C to +85C including temperature rise when applying an electrical current. Other than the natural color, the series is offered in black, blue and red to aid users in manufacturing and assembly.

  3. PUD Connectorcrimp style contacts Crimp Contact The PUD contacts are designed to accommodate a wire range of 22 AWG to 28 AWG using UL1007 (UL1061 for 22 AWG) insulation. The contacts are tin-plated over a copper alloy base material. The leaf spring structure of the contact is designed to help prevent deformation due to unexpected forces.

  4. PUD Connectorsecure locking housings Molded in PBT rated 94V-0 material, the polarized PUD series housings incorporate a finger-friendly design for ease of mating and un-mating. Available in 8 to 40 circuits, the locking mechanism is designed for a secure and stable connection ideal for high vibration applications. The housing receptacles are keyed to prevent accidental reverse mating or to a header without the same number of circuits. An audible click is heard when mating the receptacle housing assembly with the mating header.

  5. PUD Connector through-hole headers Side-entry header Top-entry header Available in top-entry (vertical) and side-entry (horizontal), the RoHS compliant, fully shrouded headers are of glass-filled PBT rated 94V-0. The copper alloy posts are reflow treated pre-tin plating over copper-underplating and feature a locking ramp to accommodate the mating, positive locking receptacle. The headers are offered with a locating boss for polarized placement on the PCB. The top-entry headers are available without this boss as well.

  6. THE PUD SERIES IS ENGINEERING & MANUFACTURING FREINDLY Industry standard applicator for the PUD series Bench press and applicator for the PUD series YRS hand tool for the PUD series WC hand tool for the PUD series Applicators are available for semi-automatic and fully automatic termination equipment normally found in the manufacturing environment as well as hand tools. Standard reels for the WPJ series for semi-automatic and fully automatic assembly equipment are available for manufacturing.
