  5. The Basics • Cover sheet, project narrative, and budget were all completed and provided • Email of “sign-off” from necessary personnel were included with the grant application • The application was turned in by the due date

  16. Remember…. • You must submit your budget and a draft narrative to the staff members who need to sign-off on your proposal by 1-10-12 for Foundation for Madison’s Public Schools and Evjue grants and by 2-23-12 for Aristos grants.

  17. In summary …. • follow all of the instructions • complete all grant components, including getting grant sign-off, and hand them in on time

  18. Final thoughts…. • make it easy for reviewers to understand What is the need? What are you proposing to do about it? Why is that a good approach? What are the expected changes or outcomes?
