  2. HYPOTHESIS One of the most frequent mentioned reasons why public transport (pt) won’t be used is because the travel time is perceived to be too slow. Onthe other hand side car traffic is assessed to be quicker than it is in reality (especially by the drivers) This means the two means of transport are assessed differently in subjective terms even if their door-to-door time is the same This „subjective difference in the head“ can be reduced by awarness forming measures.
