- He believed that there were 3 basic principles that govern all objects.

- Newton’s 1st Law—An object will stay at rest unless acted upon by an outside force. An object will stay in motion unless acted upon by an outside force.

- Newton’s 2nd Law—Force is equal to mass times acceleration.

- Newton’s 3rd Law—For every action there is an equal or opposite reaction.

- Casing—The body of the tube.
- Cone—The top of rocket.

- Fins—Four parts at base of rocket for control.
- Throat—The inside center
of the rocket.
