  2. Definition-Kidney stone are a solid piece of material that occurs when urine becomes concentrated, allowing the minerals to crystalize and stick together-They form in the kidney and exit through the urine system

  3. Main causes • Low minerals, such as in fluids can make the salts, minerals and other substances, stick together to form a stone • Commonly, kidney stones can run in families, for many generations • A person and form kidney stones from the parathyroid gland producing to many hormones, which leads to high calcium and sometimes calcium kidney stones

  4. Commonly affected  • Women are 9%, and men are 19% likely to get kidney stones. • All groups and people with beliefs have the same risk of kidney stones •  If you have high blood pressure, diabetes, and obesity may increase your risk

  5. History of kidney stones • Ancient medical texts all mention calculous disease (Kidney stones) • The removal of kidney stone is a procedure  that’s thousands of years old • It was one of the earliest know procedures

  6. Symptoms  • Pain in urination  • Pain in back, side, lower abdomen, and under ribs • Pink, red, and brown urine • Cloudy and foul smelling • Neasa and vomiting

  7. How the body is affected • If you get kidney stones once, you have a 50% chance of it returning within 7 years • Kidney stones is mainly the urinary system, and

Daily life • Recovering from kidney stones can be easy but if people would not religiously follow the keys toavoiding kidney stones, chance are, they will have it again probably in the next 10 or 15 years of his or her life. • Your diet has to change or it will be the same outcome as you had before,

  9. Effort to Prevent  • Drink lots of water (2-3L) per day • Pain relievers to create comfort • Doctors may give you medication to help you pass the stone
