Hints and Tips: Procurement • Procurement Route? • DH are dead set against Competitive Dialogue and recommend Open or Restricted • Also use Frameworks where possible but watch out for: • Contract lengths • Possibility of extensions • Other suppliers not on the framework or on it through a partner • Challenges are more common nowadays • Evaluation criteria? • Watch out for the cost % if you don’t want cost to be the overriding factor • Having a scoring mechanism which can reward for exceeding the requirement – otherwise can be very little difference
