29. What is Connect to Compete? National program that brings affordable broadband, computers and digital literacy training to disadvantaged families. How to sign up? Contact the provider in your area. Discounted offers will launch in spring of 2012 reach all the providers’ areas by September 2012. What does the program offer? Families can get two-years of $9.95 (plus tax) broadband cable Internet. What Illinois Internet service providers are participating? Charter, Comcast, Mediacom, Suddenlink, &Time Warner Cable.
