  2. UNIT SUMMARY The students will learn the anatomical names and locations of the bones within their bodies. Students learning will be reinforced through games, think-pair/share and assembling Mr. Skeleton.

  3. Essential Question: What are we made of ? Unit Question: How do bones effect the shape of your body? Content Question: What are the major bones in the body? Curriculum- Framing Questions

  4. This project will assist my students in their development of 21st century skills by: • collaborating and communicating • with peers • assembling the individual bones into a • complete skeleton • understanding the importance of each • bone and it’s location • utilizing the word wall for further • comprehension

  5. What I want to learn from my students? • I want to discover what bones the students already know and then build upon it • I want to see how they collaborate and problem solve while working together How the assessment information helps me and my students plan for upcoming activities in the unit? • It will allow me to assist them in questioning, visualizing and synthesizing the information Gauging Student Needs Assessment

  6. Learn the anatomical names of the bones and their locations • Learn different technology methods and incorporate them into the unit • Share ideas with other colleagues My Goals for the Course
