  2. High frequency transformers are used to complete many functions, out of which the power transmission is of high importance. For power transmission, the transmission mode of the transformer power, the voltage applied to the primary winding, and the magnetic flux in the magnetic core changes induce the secondary winding voltage, which leads the electrical power fromtheprimarytothesecondary.Inthispowertransmissionprocess,themagneticcoreis divided into one-way and two-way magnetic flux changes. In one-way change, the flux density changes from the maximum value to the residual flux density. Let us suppose that the maximum value is ‘X’, the residual flux density is ‘Y’, and the flux density change value is ‘Z’. Then, Z = X – Y. In case of two-way change, the mode of operation varies from +X to –X, or from –X to +X, and in this case, Z = 2X. Whether it is one-way or two-way, the transformer power transmission mode is not directly related to the corepermeability. For inductor power transmissionmode, the primary winding input power leads to core excitation, which then leads to magnetic energy storage, and then induces secondary winding voltage by demagnetization, which ultimately releases power to the load. The transmission power is determined by the inductance core energy storage, which is in turn determined by the inductance of the primary winding. However, inductance and magnetic permeability of the core, and energy storage are not directly related to the magnetic flux density. Since the power transformer modes are different, the required core parameters are also different.
