Population density is the relationship between a country and its population. It is calculated by taking its population and dividing its area (people/area) and is expressed as p/km2 .
We must remember that calculating population density doesn’t mean there is that exact amount of people living in each square KM. Certain areas of the country may be sparsely populated, while other sections such as cities may be heavily populated.
