  3. Homework • Weekly Sheet with: • 20 minutes reading daily • Weekly Essay • Weekly Common Core Practice • Weekly Math Practice/Language Practice • Math homework if not completed in class • Memorizations (schedule on blog) • Other special assignments during the year

Portal http://weber.k12.ut.us/myweber • Password same as last year • Password issues see Mrs. Gordon in office • Check weekly • Symbols • L=Late (turned in and scored but late) • A=Absent (zero credit until made up) • X=Excused ( do not make up) • M=Missing (not prepared when score taken needs to be made up and zero credit until made up) • 0= without a letter the score cannot be made up

  6. Academic/Behaviorial Incentives • Students will be rewarded for staying caught up on their work and doing their best. This may be Weekly  ,Monthly , and or Quarterly ! • Students will be rewarded for being respectful and following the rules.

  7. Tips for Success • Check the portal, blog, then email teacher • Respect for self, others, and environment • Be here on time • Turn work in on time (be prepared) • Water bottle • Sleep and eat well • Make Your education a priority

Parent/Student assignment • Due this Wednesday • Go to the blog • Answer the questions from the Back to School Assignment • Print the detailed parent/student letter • Read and sign it • Send back signature page only • Score taken on preparation • Print DESIRE poem from blog memorization tab • Memorization due Wednesday, September 4th

Finally… • Please leave the information packets on the back table • Please pick up papers/Folder in the hall • PTA sign up sheets in hall • Email/Text sign-up sheet with cell provider • Choir sign up • Hand in Superintendent Summer Reading/Math papers • Sign up sheets for individual conference IF needed
