Established in 1991 as the first institution of higher education in Western Australia, Edith Cowan University (ECU) is an Australian public university and University of Western Australia(UWA) another good institution of higher education in Australia. UWA is a public research university that was established in 1911 but teaching students two years later. Built over 160 acres, it is known to be the 6th oldest university in Australia. Since it is the oldest university in Western Australia it is also classed as one of the "sandstone universities". It is a wonderful university that attracts thousands of students every year from different parts of the world.
