Identify glossaries and learning how to construct them Creating a glossary of rainforest keywords including an a-z glossary Understand how to use index etc within an information book Find out facts from a variety of sources Create a poster to show how the water cycle works Write a newspaper article to show how and why rainforests should be protected. Prepare a role play to act out an interview to discuss threats to the rainforest Describing rainforest animals and plants according to their characteristics.   3. Yellow Class: The Rainforest Children can choose which activity they would like to do each week. Children must complete at least TWO activities from ‘I enjoy reading, writing and speaking’ and at least TWO activities from ‘I enjoy maths.’
