  2. If you believe in God, then you know that you have value—you were created in God’s image (Genesis 1:27). But, if you believe God did not create us… then you would have a problem. Because if God did not create us, if we evolved, then we would have no rational foundation to believe we have greater value than any other living creature. Whether it were the smallest insect or the most disgusting rat in the sewer, we could not claim that we had any value greater than theirs.

  3. In America, our society has progressively removed God from it’s laws and morals. As a result, it is now against the law to kill a baby Eagle or damage its egg… The penalty for killing an unborn eagle in this country is a fine of up to $5000 and up to five years in prison.

  4. BUT the aborting of a human child is federally endorsed and funded. An unborn eagle has more value than an unborn child.Why?

  5. Diary of an unborn baby:

  6. October 5: Today my life began. My parents do not know it yet, but it is I already. And I am to be a girl. I shall have blond hair and blue eyes. Just about everything is settled though, even the fact that I shall love flowers.

  7. October 19: Some say that I am not a real person yet, that only my mother exists. But I am a real person, just as a small crumb of bread is yet truly bread. My mother is. And I am.

  8. October 23: My mouth is just beginning to open now. Just think, in a year or so I shall be laughing and later talking. I know what my first word will be: Mama.

  9. October 25: My heart began to beat today all by itself. From now on it shall gently beat for the rest of my life without ever stopping to rest! And after many years it will tire. It will stop, and then I shall die.

  10. November 2: I am growing a bit every day. My arms and legs are beginning to take shape. But I have to wait a long time yet before those legs will raise me to my mother’s arms, before these little arms will be able to gather flowers and embrace my father.

  11. November 12: Tiny fingers are beginning to form on my hands. Funny how small they are! I’ll be able to stroke my mother’s hair with them.

  12. November 20: It wasn’t until today that the doctor told my mom that I am living here under her heart. Oh how happy she must be! Are you happy, mom?

  13. November 25: My Mom and Dad are probably thinking about a name for me. But they don’t even know that I am a little girl. I want to be called Kathy. I am getting so big already.

  14. December 10: My hair is growing. It is smooth and bright and shiny. I wonder what kind of hair Mom has?

  15. December 13: I am just about able to see. It is dark around me. When Mom brings me into the world it will be full of sunshine and flowers. But what I want more than anything is to see my Mom. How do you look, Mom?

  16. December 24: I wonder if Mom hears the whispering of my heart? Some children come into the world a little sick. But my heart is strong and healthy. It beats so evenly. You’ll have a healthy little daughter, Mom!

  17. December 28: Today my mother killed me.

  18. Would you consider an abortion in any of these cases? 1) A preacher and his wife living in extreme poverty. They have 14 children and she is pregnant again.2) A mother has TB and a the father has the sniffles. The family has four children already. One has TB, two are deaf and one is blind. 3) A thirteen year old black girl is raped by a white man. 4) A teenage girl becomes pregnant but not by her fiancée. He is very upset. If you aborted in the first case you have killed John Wesley If you aborted in the second case you killed Beethoven. If you aborted in the third case you killed Ethel Waters. If in the third case you aborted you killed Jesus

  19. On September 11, 2001 over 3500 lives were extinguished when those two planes crashed into the twin towers of the World Trade Center. And the world mourned.

  20. On September 12, 2001 4000 lives were extinguished and again on September 13 and 14 and 15. Every day in America there are over 4000 unborn babies whose lives have been taken in what is called pro-choice. 4000 each day, 28,000 each week, 112,000 each month and 1,460,000 each year.

  21. 30 years ago the Supreme Court of the United States of America handed down their decision in Roe v. Wade making abortion on demand a legal reality in this nation – and putting into motion the destruction of over 40 million human babies since then.

  22. However, because we are made in the image of God (Genesis 2:27) and He bought us with a high price (1 Corinthians 6:20), we have great value!

  23. Psalms 139:23-24 23Search me, O God, and know my heart;    test me and know my anxious thoughts.24 Point out anything in me that offends you,    and lead me along the path of everlasting life.

  24. Even though exploratory surgery is not pleasant it is occasionally necessary. Just as David asked God to search him for any sin of omission or commission so we need to allow God to run a diagnostic check on our hearts and minds.

Against my protestations of, "You can’t arrest me for hollering in my car," he ordered me into the back seat of his.

  26. After about two hours in a holding cell, the arresting officer advised me I was free to go. I said, "I knew you couldn’t arrest me for what I was yelling in my own car. You haven’t heard the last of this."The officer replied, "I didn’t arrest you for shouting in your car. I was directly behind you at the light. I saw you screaming and beating your steering wheel, and I said to myself, "What a jerk. But there is nothing I can do to him for throwing a fit in his own car.”

  27. Then I noticed the ’Cross’ hanging from your rear view mirror, the bright yellow ’Choose Life’ license tag, the ’Jesus is Coming Soon’ bumper sticker, and the Fish symbol , and I thought you must have stolen the car."

  28. Some Christians believe every person is made in the image of God and have value. Other Christians believe this is true, but their actions rarely support their belief. Still others are heavily involved in causes that support the sanctity of life. Are you investing in the lives of others and affirming their worth?
