  2. Personal Page My name is Kelsey Michelle Paskert and I am a sophomore at the University of South Dakota, majoring in elementary/special education. I am from the small town of Remsen, Iowa. I graduated from Remsen-Union with a class of 23. My favorite color would have to be PINK. My favorite television shows are Desperate Housewives and Jersey Shore.

  3. Hobbies/Activities My hobbies are being with my family and friends as much as possible. I like going to movies or just having a quiet night in the house. I love going to Okoboji over the summer to ride the boat, lay out and get some sun, and drive the jet ski. When I was in high school I was involved in just about anything I could. I was apart of the volleyball, basketball, track, and softball team, and also on the cheerleading and dance squad. I am not apart of any kind of sport at USD, but I would like to join a intramural team in the near future.

  4. Professional Goals Education: *I am majoring in elementary/ special education at USD. *I will be graduating from USD in May of 2013. Career: *Find a job at an elementary school becoming either a 3rd or 4th grade teacher. *Becoming a teacher that not only teaches but inspires all my students. *Always being proactive rather than reactive in the classroom. *Having a positive attitude no matter what the situation or problem that arises in the classroom.

  5. Where I want to be in 10 years In 10 years, I want to be living in a small, friendly Iowa town. I want to be married with two or three children, living just outside of the town. I will have a job as a 3rd or 4th grade elementary teacher in my town. I will be an inspiring teacher that will never give up on my students and always having a positive attitude. I will want to be the head coach of either volleyball or softball and also head coach of cheerleading.

  6. Family In my family, I have one brother, three sisters, a nephew and another baby on the way. My parents names are Tony and Tammy Paskert, and they live in Remsen, Iowa. My brothers name is Luke Paskert. He is 30 years old, married to Kelli Paskert, and lives in Ankeny, Iowa. My sisters name is Becky Berkenpas. She is 26 years old, married to Mike Berkenpas, and lives in LeMars, Iowa. She also has a son named Brayden Paskert and one more child on the way. My other sisters name is Katie Frericks. She is 22 years old, married to Justin Frericks, and lives in Oyens, Iowa.

  7. Friends Friends are very important in any persons life, especially in my life. I have made some great friends at the University of South Dakota. I was a little nervous coming to USD at first because it was definitely out of my comfort zone, but I would not change this experience for anything. Living at Norton Hall for the past two years has made my friends and I that much closer. I am so thankful for the friends I have made here at USD.   8. High School Memories • Like I said in the pervious slides, I was involved in just about every sport while in high school. I loved to be active and always being involved in anything I could do. If I was not so involved, I do not think I would have had the friends I did and I would not be out going and willing to try new adventures while in college.
