  1. Multiply: Part 1 Living as a Disciple Maker Chapter 2 The Command to Make Disciples

  2. James 1:22-25 “Do not merely listen to the word, and so deceive yourselves. Do what it says. Anyone who listens to the word but does not do what it says is like someone who looks at his face in a mirror and, after looking at himself, goes away and immediately forgets what he looks like. But whoever looks intently into the perfect law that gives freedom, and continues in it – not forgetting what they have heard, but doing it – they will be blessed in what they do.” Welcome to the Transitions Adult Community !!

  6. Questions for Discussion • Would you say that you’re ready to commit yourself to studying the Scriptures diligently and investing in the people around you? Why or why not? • What excuses tend to keep you from following Jesus’ command to make disciples? What do you need to do to move past these excuses?

  9. Two more…for the road • If God has sovereignly placed you where you are to participate in carrying out the Great Commission, how can you be faithful to that placement this week? • Who has God placed in your life that you can teach to follow Jesus?
