  1. Attention After changing your internet browser (proxy) settings, you can only access those web sites allowed/directed by KHU Information Center. In order to browse other web sites (when you finish your work with KHU Information Center online resources) you should restore your original settings. For remote access of the KHU Information Center online resources you have to change your settings for each time, so it is suggested that you should keep a note of these settings.

  5. Select Usea proxy server forthisconnection Type in Addressline : 31.145.7.16port line : 3128

To make the necessary modifications and after refreshing the page with F5, enter the User name and Password After you are finished using the databases turn the settings back to default, otherwise you may have problems accessing other web sites. Google Chrome • Click on the settings button right to the address bar. • Go to the Under the hood tab • Click on the Change proxy settings button • If you are connecting through a wireless network, LAN, or a modem with ethernet connection: Click on the Local Area Network (LAN) settings button • If you are connecting through a USB connected modem or a 3G modem: Select your connection in Dial-Up and Virtual Private Network settings box, then click on Settings button Check Automatically detect settings box • Check Use automatic configuration script box, then enter the following address to the address box: 31.145.7.16 Port : 3128 • Click on OK button to save settings and exit Mozilla Firefox • From the menu, select Tools - Options • Go to Advanced tab, then go to Network tab • Click on the Settings button of the Connection box • Check Automatic proxy configuration URL: box, then enter the following address to the address box: 31.145.7.16 Port : 3128 • Click on OK button to save settings and exit Apple - Mac • System Preferences • A window named Network will appear • Go to the Advanced tab and click on the Change Settings button next to the Proxies • Scroll down to the bottom of the Select a proxy server to configure box check and enter the following address to the URL box on the right side: 31.145.7.16 Port : 3128 • Select web proxy ( HTTP ) • Click on OK button to save settings and exit
