  2. The Stonehenge was built anywhere from 3000 BC to any where to 2000 BC The Druids(say: droo-id)built the Stonehenge in a five hundred year period and then abandoned the place That means the Stonehenge was built about 5,000 years ago The Druids didn’t have the machinery we have today so they didn’t have trucks to move those huge stones they had to problem solve and they moved those stones with lots of human power HTTP://www.youtube.com/HowtheStonehengewasbuilt The Druids used deer antlers as picks to dig the ditch which is 20 feet wide and 7 feet wide Stonehenge Facts

  3. The Stonehenge was constructed in three phases The three phases took about thirty million hours of labor The tallest upright stone is 6.7m(22feet) high with another 2.4(8feet) below ground They use chalk rubble taken from the ditch to build a steep bank just inside the outer circle of the Stonehenge Each stone weighed about 26 tons Stonehenge Facts

  4. 1900BC-first phase of building Stonehenge: building a circular ditch 4 holes excauated the heel stone was erected and 50 Aubrey holes dug 1750BC-Second wave of construction double circle of bluestone constructed 1650Bc-Third wave of construction Sarasin circle and horseshoe of trilithons built http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-6oxmxPKoSE&safety_mode=true&persist_safety_mode=1&safe=active Stonehenge FactsTime Line

  5. The Druids used the Stonehenge to worship Lunar and Sonar, sun worship, a healing center, a burial ground or a huge calendar The Stonehenge is located in the English country of Wiltshire about 2.p miles west of Amesbury and 8 miles north of Salisbury Stonehenge Facts

  6. I believe that the Druids used Large logs to move the stones I also believe that they used the Stonehenge as a burial ground because I saw a show on the Stonehenge and it showed it as a burial ground and to sacrifice others I also believe that the Stonehenge was built to be a lined with the stars to use as a calendar but know the earth has moved so now we can’t be sure what it was used for My Opinion
