  • Start off with your committee name followed by a comma (,)

  • “The General Assembly,”….

The basics

  • Start with perambulatory clauses and end each phrase with a comma (,) and italicize the first word

  • Italicize the first word in EVERY phrase and number each clause

  • For operative clauses you end each phrase with a semi-colon (;) except for the last phrase which ends with a period (.)
