  2. CHARACTERISTICS • Frogs have very good eyesight. • Frogs also have amazing sense of hearing. • Frogs have very powerful back legs and webbed feet • Every different species of frog has his or her own look. • They come in many colors, patterns.

  3. HABITAT Inhabits warm, sunny, open, permanent water - lakes, ponds, sloughs, reservoirs, marshes, slow river backwaters, irrigation canals, cattle tanks, and slow creeks. Found in grassland, farmland, prairies, woodland, chaparral, forests, foothills, and desert oases.

  4. Frogs’ Prey • Insects, snails, spiders, worms and even small fish have all been known to be part of a frog’s diet and while some bigger frogs had been known to go after something as big as a mouse, there are still those frogs that just stick to insects.
