  4. ¿CUÁL ES EL ORIGEN DEL CALOR INTERNO DE LA TIERRA? El calor interno de la Tierra procede, fundamentalmente, de las radiaciones emitidas por la desintegración de elementos radiactivos presentes en su interior, como el uranio, el torio y el potasio.

  5. La temperatura de la Tierra aumenta con la profundidad • ¿Cuál es la temperatura a 100 km de profundidad? • ¿Y a 500 km? • ¿Qué temperatura habría a 800 km de profundidad, si aquella variara como en los primeros 100 km de manera constante?
